Divided into two chapters, the Cinematographic Art & Documentation journal concentrate on research in cinematography as an art form, cultural investigation and latest appearances in the analyzed areas. Thus, the first section, dedicated to cinematography as an art form, handles issues related to the perception of movie imagery, themes and symbols embraced by the artistic creation, of visual nature in particular but also linked to film production.
The second chapter contains cultural studies that take on the action of clarifying the social and symbolic dimension of the time frame in which the action of the annual movie unfolds.
